“Boredom is Good for Creativity”

I’ve heard that boredom can inspire creativity. 

And today was a mostly boring day.  

There was no creative breakthrough, though. No spark of inspiration. 

It was a sharp contrast to my experience with immersion, when the overstimulation seems to electrify new parts of my brain. 

Maybe new ideas will begin flowing in the coming days. But so far, my experience with boredom is entirely uninteresting.
