Quotidian Chaos

It’s difficult to be unsatisfied with the present when you remind yourself that this - right now - is the “one day” that you once dreamed about.

I realize that this is a little woo-woo.

But it’s true.

So many of the good things in my life, today, are things that I ached for, prayed for, wished for in the past.

Gratitude slips through our fingers, though.

It’s easy to get distracted by the day to day.

For me, at least, it takes a little late night reflection on where I’ve been to gain the necessary perspective to truly appreciate all the quotidian chaos.
