Connectivity and Dissent

Everyday, executives at large companies make decisions that impact their employees.

Only some of them get really good feedback.

Most will hear a combination of anecdotes and opinions about their decisions.

A few will go to the effort of collecting data about a specific decision, or will seek out key stakeholders for one-on-one feedback.

Most will not. Their decision will stand. Even if their employees hate it.

But today’s world has a lot of technology-enabled connectivity that can be harnessed to organize dissent.

Most decisions don’t warrant this kind of mobilization.

For those decisions that do, though, the response will be swift and unexpected.
