Tools of the Trade

As my commitment to my creative projects deepens, I find myself more willing to invest in the tools that will make it easier for me to perform.

This feels like an accomplishment.

For one, I’m lucky to have the means to pay for such tools and software.

But it also feels like I’m evolving past an old habit, one in which I took on too much, too fast, never stopping to strategize how best to grow.

I kept myself in “free trial mode” for too long.

Maybe back in the day I was too afraid to pay for the tools to help me grow. Or maybe I didn’t fully believe that I would succeed.

Now, I feel like success is the most natural thing in the world. I deserve to experience it. And I work hard to ensure that I will.

The mindset shift alone feels like a win.
