A Slight Lag

When watching Euro 2024 football matches on public television, there can sometimes be a slight lag of ten to thirty seconds between those watching it on premium channels.

Earlier tonight, we heard a roar of cheering moments before we saw Germany score. 

Someone asked if we should try to switch our stream to avoid such a lag. 

“I like it,” someone said.

I agreed with them. 

There’s something quite beautiful in hearing good news before you experience it for yourself.
