AI Won’t Make You Consistent
An email appeared in my “Newsletters” folder today with the subject line “Guess Who’s Back?” It was from an AI educator whose AI prompt writing course I’d taken on LinkedIn Learning. In addition to the subject line was a “remember me?” paragraph at the top of the email.
The email made me chuckle because I’m a bit of an AI skeptic and also because I’m curious about how people build an audience online.
We’re constantly being told that AI is going to revolutionize business.
But it couldn’t even help this guy send a regular email newsletter.
Later, I went to the gym, and almost quit during my warm up. While I sat there, imagining myself walking back to the locker room, packing up my stuff, and leaving the gym less than ten minutes after entering, I realized that I didn’t want to carry around a feeling of failure for the rest of the day. I definitely was not in top condition for a workout. But I powered through anyway, because I wanted to be consistent in my fitness plan.
Consistency is a superpower. And it’s 100% on you.
