Thirty Days In

A month ago, I set out to blog every day.

Mostly I wanted to develop the habit of writing and publishing every day.

Thirty days in, and I’m proud that I stuck with the goal.

It taught me about prioritization and commitment. It also improved my writing skills, especially at the sentence level, where I found myself abandoning old habits that made my writing overwrought.

But mostly, I value the space it created each day to reflect. I found myself cherishing my days more, and remembering tiny, impactful moments much longer than I usually do.

The thing about habits is they’re never really done; so I will continue writing each day.

Let’s see what else I can learn from this habit.
