Das Tippspiel
I am part of a prediction game for the European Football Championship, which is underway.
Yesterday, I notched a near perfect score, correctly predicting the winners of all three matches.
Two of my score predictions were an exact match.
Today was a complete 180. Abysmal. I got all of the predictions wrong. Zero points for me.
It’s easy to feel demotivated after a bad day.
But the single biggest indicator of a high scorer in this kind of prediction game is who logs predictions for each match.
Who follows through.
The Euros are a long tournament - 51 matches in all - and most of the prediction game participants bore of the game after the first couple rounds.
I’m taking today’s defeat in stride.
After all, I’ve got to decide on tomorrow’s predictions.
