My Favorite Souvenir: Public Art, from Neon to Graffiti

I love snapping photos of street art while traveling around Europe: graffiti, neon signs, and murals are like little bits of art left out in the real world. Sure, museums and galleries have a lock on the rarified world of fine art. But sometimes I prefer to grab a coffee and wander through town, finding the beauty of a destination in its most casual and quotidian places.

Here are a few of my favorite examples of European street art.
